If you have an immediate or urgent technical assistance (TA) needs, please email your request to TARequests@ascellon.com and type "urgent" in the subject field. All other TA requests should be submitted using the TA request form

What is MFP?

Enacted by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, the Money Follows the Person (MFP) Rebalancing Demonstration is part of a comprehensive, coordinated strategy to assist States, in collaboration with stakeholders, to make widespread changes to their long-term care support systems. With the history and strength of the Real Choice Systems Change grants as a foundation, this initiative will assist States in their efforts to reduce their reliance on institutional care while developing community-based long-term care opportunities, enabling the elderly and people with disabilities to fully participate in their communities.

What is Ascellon's role?

Ascellon Corporation and its Technical Assistance Team is available to provide a multi-level approach in assisting Grantees with successfully implementing the Money Follows the Person (MFP) Demonstration Grant. Among the approaches that may be offered: teleconferences, web-based video conferences, regional conferences, informal peer-to-peer, short-term intensive, and customized.
